# Terms

The short version, while the long version is being written.

## The service

OrderStation takes orders for your restaurant or café and shows them to your kitchen and your staff. It is provided by retail butlers GmbH. It is not a point of sale and does not issue fiscal receipts.

## Plans

The Free plan is free for up to two locations and twenty menu items and does not include checkout. Paid plans are billed per location and month in euro. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the next billing date.

## Your data

Your menus, orders and settings remain yours. We keep them in a database dedicated to your account and use them only to provide the service. You can export or delete them.

## Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times and tell you in advance about planned maintenance. Guest-facing pages are designed to keep working through brief interruptions.
