# Order with your AI assistant

At a kiosk that runs OrderStation, your own assistant can order for you. You talk to it in your language, it fills the cart on the kiosk, and you watch every line arrive on the screen.

## 1. Add the connector once

The connector address is `https://order-station.com/mcp`. It needs no account and no sign-in.

- In Claude: Settings, Connectors, "Add custom connector". Enter a name such as OrderStation and the address above. The connector then also works in the Claude app on your phone.
- In ChatGPT: Settings, Apps & Connectors, Advanced, switch on developer mode, then create a connector with the address above. ChatGPT offers this on paid plans.
- Assistants that can use a web browser need no connector. They open the remote page from the same code on the kiosk.

## 2. Show your assistant the kiosk

On the kiosk, tap the wheelchair icon, then "Control with your phone". The kiosk shows a QR code, an address and an eight-digit code. Send a photo of the screen to your assistant, or tell it the address and the eight digits.

## 3. Say what you want

For example: "A schnitzel with fries, and a cola without sugar." The assistant adds it, and the new lines appear on the kiosk with a small robot mark. If a dish comes in several sizes or the request fits more than one dish, the assistant asks you first.

You can also tell it what you can't eat, for example "no gluten" or "I'm vegetarian". The assistant reads the allergen notes on the menu and suggests what fits. The notes come from the restaurant and are not a guarantee; if you have a severe allergy, please ask the staff.

## 4. Answer when the kiosk asks

When a request is not clear, or the assistant wants to change or remove something, the kiosk shows a proposal. Answer yes or no in the chat, or tap the kiosk.

## 5. Pay at the kiosk

Check the total on the screen. Tell your assistant to start the payment; it reads the order back to you first. Then hold your card to the terminal.

## Good to know

- The code works once and expires after five minutes. If the connection ends, show your assistant a new code.
- One phone or assistant controls a kiosk at a time. A second one is refused.
- You can tap the screen yourself at any time, and the assistant sees the change.
- Prices come from the kiosk. The assistant cannot set or change an amount, and it cannot pay for you: the card is always held to the terminal.
- Your conversation stays with your assistant; the kiosk receives only the order. Details in our [privacy notice](https://order-station.com/legal/privacy#ai-assistants).

## What the assistant can do

Read the menu and the kiosk screen; add, change and remove dishes; change the quantity; answer a proposal; switch the kiosk language; choose eat here or take away; show the cart; go back; start the payment; and release the kiosk when you are done.
